2018 New Year’s Greetings
A very happy new year to you all.
In 2017, we were able to deliver a wide range of activities that promoted a society enriched by art and culture. This would not have been possible without the support of our corporate members and partners, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have helped us.
This year will mark 28 years since this association was founded. As our society undergoes significant transformations, with further globalization and the prevalence of the Internet, the role of the arts and culture is becoming increasingly important. As an association promoting the arts, we aim to provide a platform that can respond flexibly to needs of society.
With the year 2020 on the horizon, Japan has been attracting attention from around the world. This year, we will be highlighting companies across Japan that are working on regional and community development through a variety of arts and cultural activities. By showcasing their activities to the world, we are committed to ensuring that these unique regional traditions can be enjoyed by future generations.
