New Year’s Greetings
A very happy new year to you all.
In 2018, we were able to deliver a wide range of activities that promoted a society enriched by art and culture. This would not have been possible without the support of our corporate members and partners, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have helped us.
For the year 2020, the Olympic and Paralympic Games are beginning to be acknowledged not only for sports, but for cultural programmes. And as we look upon the world, realizing a sustainable society requires our effort towards implementation for the SDGs.
Under these circumstances, for corporations the importance of mécénat activities, which becomes future investment, is further increasing. Looking into 2020 and beyond, as an association for promoting the arts, we aim to provide a cultural promotion platform to fulfill a rich-hearted society. And we will continue to highlight corporations across Japan that engage in regional or community development through a variety of arts and cultural activities. By showcasing their activities to the world, we are committed to ensuring that these unique regional traditions can be enjoyed by future generations.
